Cyprus™: looking for branding practices in Late Bronze Age Cyprus

In this paper, I argue that it might be possible to spot LBA producers, entrepreneurs and consumers active in the eastern Mediterranean from markers other than written sources, i.e. branded commodities branding practices. Thus, analysis of brands, like sealing, labelling, marking, could allow us understand movement LC goods (pottery, metal) related communities consumers, both inside outside island, a period when Cyprus lacks local deciphered sources. will address topic using contemporary literature on sociology marketing which seem particularly applicable interconnected Mediterranean. practices brand helps set out theoretical approach have better different grasp circulation consumption patterns nearby regions.
